About Dr. Anne Marie Pollard

Dr. Anne Marie Pollard was raised on a working dairy farm in central NY, this started her love of
animals and she knew at the age of 9 she wanted to be a veterinarian, this dream never wavered. Dr. Pollard graduated from the University of Georgia in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and in 2010 she graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, Go DAWGS!

She enjoys internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, nutrition, and dentistry. In her free time she enjoys gardening, reading, running, rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with her husband of 19 years, 12 yo daughter and twin 10 yo boys. She loves cuddling with her 3 cats (Chiaro, Luce and Juno), Boston terrier Ari and Mixed breed Sylvi, both rescue pups Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is the many relationships she has formed over the years with her patients, clients, staff members and colleagues.

She started with Big Creek Animal Hospital shortly after it opened 9 years ago after moving from
Sandy Springs.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Thank you Big Creek for taking such good care of Iceman. Both Dr. Pollard and Dr. Estes are so caring and loving. The staff is amazing. They also take care of many foster dogs with Atlanta Boxer Rescue.
My boy was given excellent veterinary care. It’s also really special when several of the technologists come out just to say hello to my sweet boy.
